Al Carnrite

Chairman and CEO

Alan "Al" Carnrite has been the CEO and a Managing Director of Carnrite since 2008.  With over 25 years of experience in diversified oil and gas, he is an advisor to many companies in the E&P industry.  Mr. Carnrite work in partnership with the consulting team on many of Carnrite’s consulting projects, specifically in the areas of strategy design, mergers and acquisitions, operational and organizational effectiveness and the implementation of alternative business models.

Previously Mr. Carnrite was a Managing Director and led the energy consulting practice at Jefferies Randall & Dewey.  Mr. Carnrite was a founder of the Carnrite Consulting Group and Sterling Consulting Group, an energy management consulting firm, where he specialized in enhancing integrated companies' shareholder value through mergers and acquisitions, strategic leadership and value-added management assignments. Earlier, he had worked for a large Canadian integrated energy company, where he played a key role in the firm’s privatization, the largest in Canadian history.

John A. Hageman

Vice President Legal

Mr. Hageman has over 22 years of in-house general counsel experience with public and private companies with annual revenues in excess of $1 Billion.  From 1997 until 2009 Mr. Hageman was Chief Legal & Administrative Officer for Metals USA Holdings Corp., a metal distribution and processing company.

Sherri Herzig

Vice President

Ms. Herzig has over 20 years of experience within the oil and gas industry, focused on business and operations consulting for over 14 years. Early in her career, she worked for Conoco, Inc. in their upstream and midstream business segments in assignments spanning financial, commercial, operational, and strategic arenas. Ms. Herzig has consulted extensively with domestic and global Fortune 50 energy industry clients on topics such as strategy development, business process improvement, valuation, organization capability and design, and operating strategy and structure development. Certified in Six Sigma, Ms. Herzig has been a Managing Director of the consulting business unit since the company was formed as The Carnrite Group in 2007.

Lea Ann Robertson

Vice President

Ms. Robertson is a Senior Engagement Manager with more than 20 years of diverse experience in the financial and consulting sectors of energy industries. Her specialty is strategy design & implementation plan development in arenas requiring rapid reduction of large information-intensive analyses into concise, objective business assessments. Experience in financial analysis and modeling, strategic planning, and strategy implementation is complemented with the capability to render objective opinions quickly. Ms. Robertson has extensive international experience and has been a Managing Director of the consulting business unit since the company was formed as The Carnrite Group in 2007.

Gillian Tilbury

Vice President

Ms. Tilbury’s oil and gas experience spans 22 years. During the first 7 years of this career, she held various strategic, commercial and operational positions within Conoco, Inc.’s Midstream business unit.  Ms. Tilbury’s consulting work has been with both domestic and multi-national Energy companies. Projects have focused on developing and implementing customized solutions for Upstream Base Operations Excellence, Process Improvement initiatives, strategic planning performance management, and mergers & acquisitions. Certified in Six Sigma, Ms. Tilbury has been a Managing Director of the consulting business unit since the company was formed as The Carnrite Group in 2007.

Carolyn Chase

Vice President

Ms. Chase brings more than 25 years of experience within the oil and gas energy industry, working the last 15 years as a consultant. Previously, Ms. Chase worked ten years for Exxon Co. USA, where she held a variety of engineering and business development positions within the production and natural gas organization. Ms. Chase’s consulting experiences include projects for international and domestic companies both upstream and downstream.  Her areas of expertise include: business process redesign and implementation, organization design, strategy development, operations, maintenance, merger integration, complex project management, change management, and business performance management. Ms. Chase has been a Managing Director of the consulting business unit since the company was formed as The Carnrite Group in 2007.

Alan Peterson

IT Director

Mr. Peterson is responsible for the IT strategy, operations, and processes for Epic Energy. Before joining Epic Energy in 2006, Mr. Peterson was the Chief Technology Officer for Amerindo Investment Advisors in New York. During his 6 years at Amerindo he held a key position focused on enabling growth, reducing costs, and improving productivity. Prior to Amerindo Alan worked in Senior Technology Management positions in several boutique investment firms in Minneapolis and New York including RBC Capital Markets, Wessels, Arnold & Henderson, Dain Rauscher as well as others. He has been a featured speaker at Networld+Interop on VOIP implementation and is actively engaged in the technology community through leadership roles in industry and application specific programs such as AXUG.

Ron Rougeau

Vice President Health, Safety, Environmental & Regulatory Compliance

Mr. Rougeau has worked in the energy sector for over 13 years. He has been responsible for designing, implementing, and administering health and safety programs for onshore and offshore operations. Mr. Rougeau is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist, 40 hour Hazwoper Certified, Medic First Aid Instructor/Basic and Blood Borne Pathogens, PEC Premier SafeLandUSA Instructor, Crane Operator Instructor, and has OSHA 501 Certification & OSHA Safety Training Certification.
